About the service
KC Repairs is the trading name of Kyle Croasdell, who is self-employed. Kyle provides mobile motorcycle and moped inspections, diagnostics and suitable repair work in Swindon. Customers do not bring motorcycles to a customer drop-off location.
Quotes and approval
Any quote will describe the planned work, known parts and charges or how they will be calculated. A quote is based on the information and inspection available at the time. No additional chargeable work or parts will be supplied without your approval, except where you expressly agree otherwise in writing.
Mobile visits and access
You must have authority to ask Kyle to work on the vehicle and provide a safe, lawful, reasonably accessible location. You remain responsible for the vehicle except while an engine or part is in Kyle's possession for agreed workshop work.
Engine and workshop work
Most suitable work is completed at your location. For internal engine work, including piston rebuilds, Kyle may remove the engine during a mobile visit, complete the agreed internal work at his workshop, and return to refit it. This requires your approval before the engine is removed. If inspection identifies further work, parts or cost, Kyle will contact you for approval before proceeding.
Parts, payment and records
Payment timing and accepted method will be confirmed in the quote or invoice before work starts. Parts supplied for your job will be explained in the quote or approval. Any specific manufacturer or supplier warranty will be passed on where applicable; this does not affect your legal rights.
Cancellation and starting work early
Your cancellation rights depend on the contract and how it is made. Where consumer cancellation rights apply, Kyle will provide the required information and a cancellation form or clear cancellation instructions. If you ask Kyle to begin work during an applicable cancellation period, he will ask for your clear written request first. Please read the cancellation information.
Service standard and complaints
Kyle will carry out services with reasonable care and skill. If you have a concern, contact Kyle promptly on 07541 455392 so he can investigate and try to resolve it. Nothing in these terms removes legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
